THE BASEMENT  PHOTO STUDIO

I'm a collector of photography.  Specifically of 19th century, vernacular, and snapshot photography, though I have a small, but growing collection of 20th century and contemporary fine-art work.

The Alcoa Care-Free Home basement has been transformed into a photo studio and gallery space to house and work on my collection, and also to store parts of it in a climate controlled environment (The Archival Room).

I also have a website, foundphotographs.com, which showcases some of the collection (in, unfortunately, a not very curated form), though it hasn't been updated in many years, so there is much more material to post when time allows.  I will also soon begin dealing in/selling photographic work that I'm "decommissioning" from the collection.  foundphotographs.com will be updated to reflect that when the time comes.

Below are some images of the space.
