VISITING THE ALCOA CARE-FREE HOME

Please realize that the AlocaCare-Free Home is a private residence.  It is not a commercial enterprise.  With that in mind, I am happy to accommodate (as far as scheduling etc. allows) folks who wish to visit the house and or the foundphotographs.com Photo Studio and its collection, especially if they have a compelling reason to do so.

If you'd like to request to schedule a visit, please note the following:

  • All visits are by online appointment only through this website (no phone calls/texts/facebook messages, etc. please).  I cannot accommodate folks who just show up.

  • Maximum of 12 people per visit (unless by prior arrangement)

  • No children under the age of 13 (with the exceptions of infants)

  • Visit duration 45 minutes - 1 hour

  • Visitors to the house are requested to donate $50/couple or $30/individual to the George Eastman Museum (you can do so HERE) or to the Landmark Society of Western New York (you can do so HERE) (Why do I request this?)

  • Visitors seeking an in-depth tour of the photo collection may be asked to make an additional donation to the George Eastman Museum.

  • Please note that neither of these donations benefits me personally, and that both donations are tax-deductible.

  • Please read ACCESSIBILITY below.

  • Have a question...just ask.

  • Use the link below to contact me to visit the house.

ACCESSIBILITY

The house is not really wheelchair accessible, but with minimum effort (ie one step) wheelchairs can be easily accommodated.  The basement Photo Studio is not wheelchair accessible...please bear this in mind.  PLEASE NOTE: Bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant.
